Satakieli! <3 aka the fanciest harp in game

Sorry for the quiet week, I’m currently trying to not drown in work and a week’s worth of tests. I hardly have time to draw at all because in my free time a certain someone keeps making me go creepside with him >.> 😛

So I discovered this kind of by accident. It’s the coolest harp cosmetic in lotro!

(That’s Satakieli and you can buy the recipe for it from the Lossoth rep vendor. You also need kindred with Lossoth to craft and equip it, slackers!)

But that’s not all I was going to post about. What’s cooler is that I also discovered by accident that you can equip cosmetic instruments on minstrels and your skills will play with the cosmetic’s sound and appearance regardless of what instrument you currently have equipped.

I put Satakieli in my outfit and my skills now play with a harp instead of my fiddle or fancy amazing bagpipes. I know you all will definitely miss the bagpipes. I’m so sorry.

Bagpipes are still amazing. So are my mini’s bare feet.

Remember that time at early 120 when the minstrels bugged and we all played with lutes regardless of our instruments until we re-equipped the instrument or changed outfits? Yeah, I should have figured this. But I thought it was something other than a cosmetic bug.

This is truly game changing for me. All these years I’ve been crafting multiple cap-level instruments and passed on a throne slotted lute because I wanted my cool bagpipes and cowbell. Turns out you can just use one cap level instrument, buy the cheapo 2 silver ones from the bard (or craft Satakieli!!) and slot it in cosmetics.

I…I feel like my life has been a lie. Why couldn’t I have found this out sooner?! Minis are amazing! <3
